Reclaimed Silver

Everywhere you look these days, you see signs saying…”We buy Gold and Silver!” So what happens to it?

Silver is sold to a refiner who has a choice to either buy mined silver or to buy those old rings and broken chain you don’t wear anymore and refine it into sterling silver or gold if the case may be. A refiner brings the metal back to their pure elements, and they are of identical quality to newly mined metals.

The Silver Dragon, a socially conscious jewelry company, uses silver refined with reclaimed silver not supplied from the mining industry, saving our earth’s natural resources.

By using reclaimed metal, we decrease the demand for newly mined ore. Remember, precious metals can be repeatedly recycled with no loss in quality; they are a naturally renewable resource.

Mother would approve.
